After an adventure at the Sematan Beach, we went to the Sarawak Cultural Village on day 4.
Before that, I would like to share with you all the breakfast we ate Fu Chow Noodle with chicken (福州鸡面线) --- RM 4.50
Not really good looking as you can see cause only a chicken drumstick and an egg
It looks simple but it tastes super duper delicious
something not that heavy just perfect for breakfast
Another noodle I would like to show you all is this Preserved Vege Noodles (槽菜粉干) --- RM 4.00
I directly translate it into english by myself^^
the noodle is what we called in hokkien “cho bi hoon”, the thick noodle
with some green vege, pork inside
It tastes sour! but trust me is worth to try^^
Both dishes are highly recommended^^ and they are originally cooked by Fu Chow people 
After around 45 minutes of driving, we finally manage to get in time for the award winning cultural performance in the mini theater

1) The Chinese Farm House

3 tries for RM1.00
but none of us dare to take up that challenge =)
According to the Malay guy, a small top can spin for 3 minutes non-stop and a big one for 5 minutes (if it is spin properly)

3) Melanau Tall House
The Melanau Tall House is built about 40 feet above the ground.

4) Orang Ulu Long House

5) Penan Hut
Shangkar tried the blowpipe *bergaya* (3 tries for RM1.00 if I’m not mistaken)

6) Iban Long House

7) Bidayuh Long House
Behind the girls is the Baruk, which functions as the congregation place for Bidayuh warriors…
There is a raised platform right in the middle of the Baruk. If you look straight up from the platform, you will see human skulls hung from the roof top. (can’t see from the picture below)
Those human skulls were once the enemies killed by Bidayuh warriors.
hmmm… I’m not so sure this ‘bridge’ is for Iban or Bidayuh Long House
(ops… sorry for my poor memory)

And that’s all! total 7 different ethnic houses…
I personally like the Melanau Tall House
amazed by the height… wondering how those people last time can built such a tall house without any proper tools?
