Sabah Trip (4) - A Salty & Bumpy Ride

On the day 4, we went to the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park
It is a marine park which consist of 5 islands
Pulau Gaya, Pulau Sapi, Pulau Manukan, Pulau Mamutik, Pulau Sulug
and the 2 islands which start with the letter 'M' are our choice^^


Pulau Gaya is the biggest island among the 5
but we got some information said that the got a lot of illegal Philippino staying there
I don't think got tourist dare to go to that island

This is the Jesselton Point
the place where we take a speed boat to the islands
I'm not so sure about the price for the boat but I remember that they even got discount for student =)

After 10-15 mins to get through the rough and big waves, we reached our 1st stop~Pulau Manukan~ with the clothes and face all semi wet *LOL*

Oh ya... we rented the snorkeling set (RM15 per set)
I can see lots of fish under there but no corals
guess that we got to go deeper for that
the sea water there is so so so saltish

The 2nd and also our last island~Pulau Mamutik~
we went there by speed boat also
they called this as island hopping -hop from one island to another
the more island u hop the cheaper

But too bad, is drizzling when we reached there
so not going to the sea and we just stay there awhile
then plan to go back already
on the way back to Jesselton Point is drizzling too
so we got a wet ride
the rain drop is like pins and needles poking on my hands
the waves are so rough until the boat keep on 'jumping', make my buttock pain only
according to the driver of the boat, KK was raining heavily before that
but by that time we reached there the rain is stop
how lucky we are ^^


After the whole day on island, sure we tend to get hungry easily
and during dinner time, my aunty bought us to the Little Italy in town area

This restaurant was awarded as the best restaurant in year 2003 *WOW*
and thanks to my uncle who did reservation earlier if not sure we going to wait for a long time
can u just imagine how pack and crowded is the restaurant?

Had a great day on that day
my 1st experience to get wet sitting in a speed boat during rainy day
my 1st time to go for snokerling
to see fish swimming beside my body
and that's all for the day
